Italian Serie A: Best Bets Round 25 – Odds, Predictions & Picks

Its top against bottom in the Italian top-flight this weekend as Juventus travel to SPAL on Saturday. However, with plenty of other exciting games to look forward to, I’ve looked elsewhere to bring you the best value Serie A bets this week. 

Fiorentina vs. AC Milan – 2/22/20 

Fiorentina come into this game on the back of a big win against Sampdoria, but AC Milan are likely to put up more of a fight on Saturday. Milan beat Torino last time out, keeping them eighth in the table. Meanwhile, Fiorentina are down in thirteenth place. This fixture isn’t likely to produce too many goals. There are only three teams that have scored fewer goals than Milan in Serie A this season, but their defensive record is impressive. On the other hand, Fiorentina have been very inconsistent throughout the campaign. All the signs are pointing towards a low-scoring matchup. 

Pick: Under 2.5 Goals – 1.85 

Genoa vs. Lazio – 2/23/20 

Ciro Immobile ended a goalless two-game run by finding the back of the net against title rivals Inter last weekend. The striker is miles ahead at the top of the Serie A goalscoring charts at the moment after netting 26 goals in 24 appearances this term. Lazio are now second in the table – two points ahead of third-place Inter and one point behind league leaders Juventus. Third from bottom Genoa have one of the worst defensive records in the division, so you’d be foolish to bet against Immobile adding to his tally this weekend.  

Pick: Ciro Immobile to Score Anytime – 1.70 

Hellas Verona vs. Cagliari – 2/23/20 

This matchup brings together two teams moving in opposite directions. Cagliari started the season well but have now failed to win any of their previous ten league games. This poor run has seen Cagliari slide down to eleventh. By contrast, Verona are unbeaten in nine – winning four and drawing five. A recent victory over Juventus proves they’ve got what it takes to compete with the top clubs in the country. Given the respective form of the two sides, I’m backing Verona to win this game. I view this as an excellent chance to double your money.
