One of the two deadliest groups in the Champions League is Group B, without any doubt. With teams like Tottenham, Inter Milan, Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven it is more than natural that all the matches will be competitive. In the penultimate match-day of this stage, Tottenham will play host to Inter Milan on Wednesday.
Tottenham (1-2-1) were not very careful in their home match against PSV Eindhoven last time out, where they conceded an early goal. However, Tottenham were really great in the second half and eventually overturned the lead in their favor to win by 1-2. They are now sitting 3rd in the group with 4 points, three behind Inter Milan and six behind Barcelona. All four of their group games so far have seen both teams score and Over 2.5 goals. Additionally, you can count on late drama as there have been six goals scored after the 75th minute across all four of their Champions League matches. Inter Milan (2-1-1) played a really tough match against the visiting Barcelona in their previous match for the competition. After a goal-less first half it was Barcelona who took the lead at the 83rd minute but Inter Milan pulled back even just a few minutes later for the final 1-1. Despite conceding the first goal in each game so far, they have avoided defeat on all but one occasion. That defeat came against Barcelona at the Nou Camp in GW3 and was the only time Inter have failed to score over a goal in their previous 13 matches (in all competitions).
Inter Milan are really good defensively and have kept clean sheets in 7 of their 11 matches so far. They would be happy even with a draw here, but expect Tottenham to apply the pressure. We can easily see goals from both sides and a plethora of goals.
