Inter Milan at Frankfurt 3/7/19 - Europa League Picks & Predictions

German side Frankfurt have been sensational this season and have managed to reach the Europa League round of 16. They will start with hosting Inter Milan in the first leg on Thursday, which is far from a nice match-up. Inter Milan are a really strong team but have not been very stable lately.

Frankfurt were simply stunning in the group stage earlier in the season, as they won all six matches in their group that also featured Lazio, Marseille and Apollon. They played for a 2-2 draw on the road against Shakhtar Donetsk in the first leg of the round of 32, and went on to destroy them by 1-4 at home in the second leg. Frankfurt have won each of their last three in all competitions and their offense has been scary this season. Inter Milan came to the competition after finishing 3rd in Group B of the Champions League (2-2-2), behind Barcelona and Tottenham. In the round of 32 of the Europa League they had to face Austrian side Rapid Vienna, and they did a tremendous job. After a 1-0 win on the road, Inter Milan doubled their clean sheet wins with a nice 0-4 at home. But they haven’t won any of their two most recent matches and have had some internal turmoil for quite a while now.
