Newcomers Inter Miami will have a herculean task ahead of them in the premiere, as they will be hosted by LAFC. The LA side were sensational last season, especially at home where they were firing in all cylinders.

Inter Miami are the newest expansion in the MLS, and its a team own by former LA Galaxy player and European soccer maestro David Beckham. The team will try to find an identity in the first season, and with the little data we have in our hands, it looks like they will play some offensive soccer this season. Three of the last five expansion teams won their first away match in the league, so there might be a little pressure on Inter Miami here.

LAFC destroyed most teams at home last season, dropping points in just four of their 17 home matches. They scored an average of 2.82 goals per match at home last season, and won by two goals or more on ten occasions. They did concede an alarming number of first goals, even at home, but had a 4-1-2 record after doing so, which goes to show that they never give up.
