Huddersfield at Manchester City 8/19/18 - Premier League Picks & Predictions

Manchester City picked up where they left off last season and have made a really great start in the new season. They will have to deal with a huge injury blow though, and will play host to Huddersfield on Sunday. Huddersfield have had tough luck in their schedule so far, losing badly to Chelsea before clashing against the reigning champions.

Manchester City (1-0-0) started the season with a nice win against Chelsea, whom they defeated by 2-0 in the Community Shield. Last week in their first match of the Premier League they had no problems in defeating Arsenal by 2-0 on the road. Mendy was sensational with two assists to Sterling and Bernardo Silva. But Manchester City got some terrible news, as key midfielder Kevin De Bruyne suffered an injury in training and is set to miss at least two months. Huddersfield (0-1-0) had no chances in their season opener against Chelsea at home. The two teams played a really dull first half, with very few scoring chances by the two sides. However, Chelsea were really lucky in that first half, where they took a two-goal lead with goals from Kante and Jorginho. Huddersfield were demoralized by that fact and eventually fell apart in the second half, conceding one more goal for the final 3-0.
