Houston Dynamo at Vancouver Whitecaps 9/14/19 - MLS Picks & Predictions

Two of the worst teams in the MLS will clash against one another on Saturday, when Vancouver will host Houston. The two teams are sitting at the two bottom spots of the Western Conference and this is not going to be one of the most exciting matches of the weekend.

Houston (10-15-4) did a great job to return to winning ways in their last match, when they beat Minnesota United by 0-2. But that win came after a seven-match win-less streak where they had lost six (0-6-1). Houston are still sitting at the penultimate spot of the Western Conference with 34 points, two behind Colorado and nine behind the playoffs. Houston are traditionally weak on the road, and this season hasn’t been any different (2-12-0).

Vancouver (6-15-9) never stood a chance in their home match against New York City, as they fell behind early in the match and eventually lost by 3-1 at home. They have now lost three in a row and four of their last five matches. Vancouver are still sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference with 27 points, seven points behind Houston. They have also been terrible at home (4-6-4), winning just one of their last seven matches in all competitions (1-4-2).
