Houston Dynamo at Sporting KC 3/7/20 - MLS Picks & Predictions

Sporting Kansas City looked great on the road in the premiere, and scored three goals to start off in a really solid manner. They will now play their first home match of the season when they will host Houston on Saturday. Houston did not have such an easy job at home against the LA Galaxy though.

Houston (0-0-1) played a pretty balanced match at home against the LA Galaxy, but did concede a very early goal. They managed to pull back even at the 54th minute to start the season with a 1-1 draw. They are traditionally really bad on the road, and last season they lost all 14 away matches in which they conceded the first goal. Moreover, they have lost each of their last seven MLS away matches but have only failed to score once in that span.

Sporting KC (1-0-0) were really effective, at least in the first half of their away match against Vancouver, and escaped with all three points. They took an early lead only to be equalized shortly after. They took the lead again before the first half was over and sealed the win with another goal at the stoppage time for the final 3-1. However, they won both halves of a match just three times last season, and have particularly been bad in second halves.
