Cincinnati met the biggest loss of their history in their last match, where they were destroyed by Minnesota United. They have been in tragic shape for quite a while now and will now play host to Houston on Saturday. Houston finally recorded a nice win but prior to that they were on a losing streak.

Cincinnati (3-13-2) are coming off the hardest match they’ve ever had to play, as they fell by a massive 1-7 on the road against Minnesota United. That loss didn’t come out of the blue, as Cincinnati have not won any of their last eight matches in all competitions, losing all six MLS matches in that span. They are stuck at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with 11 points and the worst home record (2-4-1). Houston (8-6-3) played a really balanced match at home against the NY Red Bulls, but buckled up in the second half and eventually won by an easy 0-4. That win was more than welcome, as Houston had four successive losses prior to that. They are now sitting 5th in the Western Conference with 27 points, just as many as Minnesota. But Houston have been terrible on the road so far (1-6-0), scoring just six goals in the process.

Both teams are better at home than they are on the road, and they are both suffering right now. Houston did a solid job in their last match and are generally better than Cincinnati, but I will take the Under 2.75 Goals on this one.
