Guingamp at Paris SG 1/19/19 - Ligue 1 Picks & Predictions

Paris SG have terrorized the French Ligue 1 in one more season, and they are on track for another title unless something HUGE happens. They will now return home for their next match, where they will host the team that recently eliminated them at the League Cup quarter-finals, Guingamp. The visitors are actually sitting at the bottom of the league table but have been quite competitive lately.

Paris SG (16-0-2) were tremendous in their away match against Amiens last week, and despite their struggles in the first half they scored three goals in the second to win by an easy 3-0. In their previous match they lost to Guingamp by 2-1 at home and were eliminated from the League Cup. But that was their first loss in all competitions since a 2-3 in the opening day of the Champions League against Liverpool. Paris SG are still comfortably riding at the top of the league table with 50 points, already 17 ahead of Lille. Guingamp (3-12-5) are coming off a really solid performance at home against Rennes, beating them by a solid 1-2. They might have been really bad throughout the whole season but Guingamp have actually been terrific lately. They have lost just one of their last six matches in all competitions (4-1-1) including wins over Paris SG and Monaco in that span. However, Guingamp are still sitting at the bottom of the league table with 14 points, just four points below the red line.
