Stjarnan were engaged in another high-scoring match against Fylkir last week, and they have now remained undefeated in their last three. They will remain at home for their next match, where they will play host to Grindavik on Sunday. Grindavik have also been in very good form lately, and are coming off back to back wins.
Stjarnan (1-1-3) finally kept a clean sheet in their fifth match of the season, when they destroyed Fylkir by 0-3 at home. They are now undefeated in their last three (1-0-2), while all five of their matches have featured at least Over 2.5 Goals so far. Stjarnan are now sitting at the 5th spot of the league table with 6 points, having scored 12 goals so far, against 10 conceded. They have been mediocre at home so far (1-1-1), where they have conceded three goals in each of their previous two.
Grindavik (3-1-1) are also coming off a win last week, but it was not as easy. They took an early lead but they saw their opponents pull even from the penalty spot right before the first half was over. Even so, Grindavik scored the winning goal at the 87th minute for the final 1-2. They have now remained undefeated since the premiere, and have also kept a couple of clean sheets in that span. They are now sitting at the 2nd spot of the league table with 10 points, having scored 6 goals so far, against 3 conceded.
