Italy are one of the teams that have dominated their respective Group in the 2020 EURO Cup Qualifiers. They will now look for their seventh win in just as many matches, when they will host Greece on Saturday. Greece have been really bad so far and only have a few mathematical chances to qualify.
Greece (1-3-2) were mediocre at best in their last match, where they hosted lowly Liechtenstein. They took the lead in that match but didn’t score a safety goal and were eventually equalized for the final 1-1. Greece had lost each of their previous three matches against contenders for the qualifying spots and are now in a dire place. They are sitting 5th in the group with just five points, already seven points behind the last qualifying spot, and with two teams stuck in-between.
Italy (6-0-0) are coming off a strong performance on the road against Finland, where they had to score a late penalty kick in order to take a 2-1 win. In their previous two matches they conceded the first goal but came back to win both. Italy have now won all six matches in this group, scoring 18 and conceding just three goals so far. They are first with 18 points, and five of their matches featured at least Over 2.5 Goals.
