An old rivalry comes back to life on Sunday when Netherlands will host Germany for the 2022 EURO Cup qualifiers. Netherlands started the qualifiers with a massive win at home over Belarus and will now look at least for a draw. Netherlands did a great job in the UEFA Nations League when they topped the group that also featured France and Germany. Germany (0-0-0) had a really bad run in the UEFA Nations League where they finished at the bottom of their group and were relegated. They didn’t win any of their four matches against France and Netherlands, scoring just three goals and conceding seven in the process. The Germans have been in bad form lately, having failed to win any of their last five competitive matches in all competitions (0-3-2). One important statistic about Germany’s coach Lowe is that he is without a win in the last three matches against this opponents (0-2-1).
