German Bundesliga - Matchday 25 – Best Bets, Odds, Picks & Predictions

With RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen sharing the spoils last weekend, Bayern Munich extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table to three points with a 6-0 hammering of Hoffenheim. This week, Monchengladbach and Dortmund face off in the tie of the round, while struggling Frankfurt visit Leverkusen.

Let's check out the best value bets for Matchday 25 of the 2019/20 Bundesliga campaign.

Freiburg vs. Union Berlin – 3/7/20

Just three points separate ninth-place Freiburg and tenth-place Union Berlin. Both sides have won nine of their 24 league games this term, so there really is very little between these two teams right now. Interestingly, both sides have also scored to same amount of goals (31) this season, while Union Berlin have conceded just four more goals than Freiburg. Given how similar the two teams’ records are, this matchup looks set to be a tight affair. For that reason, the sky-high price of 3.30 for the draw looks very appealing.

Pick: The Draw – 3.30

Bayer Leverkusen vs. Eintracht Frankfurt – 3/7/20

Bayer Leverkusen come into this game sitting comfortably in 5th – eight points clear of sixth-place Schalke. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt are down in 12th – seven points outside the bottom three. Leverkusen are unbeaten in their previous four league games and have won three during that period. On the other hand, Eintracht have suffered back-to-back defeats. Frankfurt have the worst away record in the Bundesliga this season, while Bayer have scored in the first half of each of their last seven league outings. The home win is at 1.62, but you can get odds of 2.40 by backing Leverkusen to win both halves.

Pick: Bayer Leverkusen to Win Half Time/Full Time – 2.40

Borussia Monchengladbach vs. Borussia Dortmund – 3/8/20

The result of this game is set to have a massive impact at the top of the Bundesliga table. Borussia Dortmund are currently 3rd with Borussia Monchengladbach two points behind in 4th. Gladbach are averaging exactly two goals per games this season, while Dortmund are averaging just under three goals per game. However, both sides have defensive problems. Both teams have scored in each of Gladbach’s previous five games, while Dortmund have the worst defensive record in the top five. I can see this being a high-scoring matchup with both teams getting on the scoresheet.

Pick: Both Teams to Score and Over 3.5 Goals – 2.25
