Stjarnan have not made the best of starts in the new season, as they have failed to win any of their first four matches. They will now look for their first win of the season when they will play host to Fylkir on Tuesday. Fylkir have been much better so far, as they have only lost in the premiere, and have been undefeated ever since.
Stjarnan (0-1-3) are coming off a really upsetting 2-2 draw on the road agianst Valur, in a match where they took the lead twice. They have actually taken the lead in three of their first four matches of the season, but they have won none. Moreover, they have scored at least twice in all their matches, but have also conceded at least two in each match. They are now sitting at the 10th spot of the league table with 3 points, having scored 9 goals so far, against 10 conceded.
On the other hand we have Fylkir (2-1-1), who started the season with a slim loss on the road against Vikingur Reykjavik, but have not lost any of their next three. In their last match they played host to Vestmannaeyjar, and had already taken a two goal lead before their opponents scored a consolation goal at the stoppage time for the final 1-2. They are now sitting at the 4th spot of the league table with 7 points, and have also failed to keep a single clean sheet so far.
