Wolfsburg did a tremendous job in their away match against Bayer Leverkusen and will now look to piece two wins together when they will host Frankfurt on Saturday. Frankfurt fought really hard to avoid the loss in their last match, but their defense, like their form, has been really awful lately.

They were already leading by four goals when they conceded a harmless late goal, as their offense really clicked in that match. Wolfsburg are sitting at the 6th spot of the league table with 42 points, three ahead of Hoffenheim but also nine behind Bayer Leverkusen and Gladbach. They have been mediocre at home so far (4-4-6), winning just two of their last eight matches in all competitions (2-3-3).

Frankfurt (8-14-5) were taken by surprise quite a few times in their home match against Freiburg, as they were at one point down by 3-1. But they kept on creating scoring chances and eventually scored two late goals to force a 3-3 draw. Even so, they have now conceded multiple goals in each of their last five matches in all competitions (0-4-1). Frankfurt are now sitting at the 14th spot of the league table with 29 points, just two ahead of the relegation zone. To make matters worse, they have the worst away record in the league (2-10-1), going win-less in their last five in all competitions (0-3-2).
