Wolfsburg have been really inconsistent so far in the season, and lately. But they are always very competitive at home, where they will now play host to Frankfurt on Monday. Frankfurt are coming off a massive feat to reach the Europa League semi-finals. They have been great this season but might be a bit fatigued on this one.

Wolfsburg (13-10-6) were really bad in their away match against RB Leipzig last week. Their opponents scored twice before the half-hour mark and it was all over. That was Wolfsburg’s third loss in their last five (2-3-0). They are sitting at the 9th spot of the Bundesliga with 45 points, five behind the top-six spots. Wolfsburg have been really strong at home lately, losing just once in their last eight (5-1-2). Frankfurt (15-7-7) met a tough 3-1 loss at home against Augsburg last week, but they were getting ready for the battle in the Europa League quarter-finals. There they beat Benfica by 0-2 and moved to the semi-finals. As far as the Bundesliga is concerned, Frankfurt are still 4th in the league table with 51 points, one ahead of Gladbach. They also have the 4th best away record (7-3-4) and have lost just one of their last eight away matches in all competitions (4-1-3).
