Bayern Munich looked a bit stiff in their return from the break, but they still managed to take all three points from their away match. They will now return home for their next assignment, where they will play host to Frankfurt on Saturday. Frankfurt have been really bad this season and this should be a really tough match for them.

Bayern Munich (18-4-4) played a really lukewarm match on the road against Union Berlin last week, but they scored a goal in each half to eventually win by 2-0. They have been in tremendous shape for quite a while now, winning each of their last seven matches in all competitions, and going undefeated in their last 16 matches. Bayern Munich are still leading the Bundesliga with 58 points, four ahead of Dortmund. They have been equally strong at home (9-2-2), winning seven of their last eight matches in all competitions (7-0-1) and scoring at least twice in seven of those matches.

Frankfurt (8-13-4) never really had a fighting chance in their home match against Gladbach, as they conceded two early goals by the 7th minute, to eventually lose by 3-1. They are nothing like the team they were last season, having sold most of their best players. They have now won just two of their last eight matches in all competitions (2-5-1) and have conceded multiple goals in six matches in that span. Frankfurt are sitting at the 13th spot of the league table with 28 points, just five above the red zone. They have been terrible on the road so far (2-9-1), scoring fewer goals than any other side (11).
