Netherlands have finally started to look like a solid team that can be competitive in a major competition after quite a few years. They have done a solid job in the UEFA Nations League so far and will now play host to World Champions France on Friday. France have also been excellent in the competition so far and a draw here would be enough to see them through as first.

Netherlands (1-1-0) were hosted by France in their UEFA Nations League debut and put up quite a fight. Their opponents took the lead at the first half but Netherlands pulled even at the 67th minute only to concede once again eight minutes later to lose by 1-2. But they pulled a massive win in their next match when they beat Germany by 0-3 at home, where they scored two late goals in a slightly unbalanced match. Netherlands are now sitting at the 2nd spot of Group 1 with 3 points, France have 7 after three matches and Germany have 1 after three matches.
France (2-0-1) made a strong debut in the UEFA Nations League against former World Champions Germany, where they held them to a goal-less draw on the road. They went on to play host to Netherlands, where they had to score a late goal in order to win by 1-2. After that they played for a spectacular 2-2 draw at home against Iceland in a friendly match. And in their most recent match, France came back from one goal behind to eventually beat Germany at home by 1-2. They are now sitting at the top of their group with 7 points after three matches, and even a draw here would be enough to seal that spot.

Netherlands look like they have overcome the struggles of recent years and have already recorded a nice win over Germany. They could possibly pose a threat to the World Champions here, and I expect both sides to score. But the odds are pretty low for that to happen, so I will take my chances with the Over 2.75 Goals.
