The Seattle Sounders have made every playoff phase in their existence and they will now face off against FC Dallas on Saturday. Dallas struggled in the final matches of the season but did manage to finish off with a massive win.
FC Dallas are coming off a tremendous performance at home against Sporting KC, blasting them by a confident 0-6. They took an early two-goal lead and scored four times in the second half to take a really important win. Prior to that they were win-less in four in a row (0-2-2) and that was not the form to take into the playoffs. Dallas were really poor on the road this season (3-10-3) and won just one of their last 13 away matches.
Seattle also made a strong finish in the season with back to back wins against Minnesota and San Jose. They did win both matches by a one-goal margin but kept clean sheets in both. The Sounders lost just one of their last five (3-1-1) and will bring that momentum at home. They have been really strong there all season (11-2-4), scoring 34 and conceding 21 in the process. They remained undefeated in their last five there (3-0-2) but did concede at least twice in three occasions.
