Southampton had a really tough time in the last month, especially over the last couple of weeks. They are coming off a series of really bad results and will now look for a way out. Southampton (2-7-2) actually took the lead in their away match against Manchester City but were eventually overturned to lose by 1-2. That was their second consecutive loss to City, as Southampton have now lost five of their last six (0-5-1). They are still stuck at the 18th spot of the league table with 8 points and the worst defense in the league with 27 conceded goals. They have yet to win a single match at home (0-4-1), with four matches featuring goals from both sides.
