Liverpool will be hosting Everton on Sunday in yet another Merseyside Derby in the city of Liverpool. The hosts are coming into this match after a tough loss in the Champions League and have not been in the best of forms lately. Everton have been in much better shape and quite stable in recent weeks.

Liverpool (10-0-3) did not play a very pretty match against Paris SG in the Champions League and fell by 1-2 on the road. That means that they will have to fight for a win at home against Napoli in the final match-day of the group stage. Last week in the Premier League they recorded a really nice away win against Watford by a strong 3-0. Liverpool are still 2nd in the Premier League with 33 points, five behind league leaders Manchester City. Liverpool have been really strong at home so far in the season, where they have lost just one of their nine matches in all competitions, winning seven (7-1-1). Everton (6-3-4) struggled more than they should have when they hosted Cardiff last week. After a goal-less first half they scored the only goal of the match at the 59th minute for the final 0-1. That was their third consecutive successful result (2-0-1), as prior to that they held Chelsea to a goal-less draw. Everton are currently 6th in the Premier League with 22 points, five behind Arsenal and the top-five. They have not been very strong on the road so far (1-2-3), having scored 7 goals so far against 9 conceded. They have only failed to score twice on the road so far and have kept just one clean sheet.
