With the EFL Cup final taking place between Aston Villa and Manchester City on Sunday, there are only eight games in the EPL this weekend. However, I have chosen three matchups that present us with some excellent value betting opportunities on Matchday 28.

Let’s get right into it.

Newcastle United vs. Burnley – 2/29/20

Newcastle are priced at 2.63 and come into this game as slight favorites. However, I think the bookies have got the one wrong. The Magpies are without a win in their previous four league games and have failed to score in their last three. On the other hand, Burnley are unbeaten in their last five outings – winning four and drawing one – and have averaged just under two goals per game during that time. Given the contrasting form of these two teams, I’m backing Burnley to claim yet another victory on Saturday.

Pick: Burnley to Win – 2.80

Everton vs. Manchester United – 3/1/20

Everton haven’t had any problems finding the back of the net recently, but their defensive record has let them down. Both teams have scored in each of Everton’s previous five league games, and I can see that happening again when Manchester United come to town. The Red Devils have been scoring goals for fun of late and come into this game on the back of a 5-0 thrashing over Club Brugge in the Europa League. United have scored eleven goals across their last four games in all competitions, while the Toffees have netted ten. Both teams to score makes sense here.

Pick: Both Teams to Score – 1.75

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers – 3/1/20

This is a huge matchup between two teams with top-four ambitions. Tottenham are currently sixth – four points shy of fourth-place Chelsea. Meanwhile, Wolves are sitting in eighth place – one point behind Spurs. There’s very little separating these two teams right now, so this game is likely to be a cagey affair. Neither side will want to lose, so I can see both managers settling for a draw. It’s worth mentioning that only Arsenal have drawn more games than Wolves in the Premier League this season.

Pick: The Draw – 3.10
