They are just one point ahead of Roma and four points behind Inter Milan. Milan have been quite strong at home in the league (7-2-3), losing just one of their last eight in all competitions (5-1-2). Empoli (5-13-6) blasted Sassuolo in their last match, as they scored two first half goals to eventually win by 0-3. Even so, that was their first win after a tough, eight-match win-less streak in all competitions. Empoli are sitting at the 17th spot of the Serie A with 21 points, just three points ahead of the relegation zone. They have the worst away record in the Serie A (0-7-4). They have only kept a single clean sheet on the road and have conceded multiple goals on eight occasions so far.
