Dundalk (16-2-4) are coming into this match after yet another dominant performance, as this time they destroyed Limerick by 0-4 at home. They had scored just once in the first half, but really took off in the second. That was their eighth consecutive win in all competitions, having kept five clean sheets in that span. Dundalk are sitting at the 2nd spot of the league table with 52 points, featuring the best offense (54) and the best defense (10). They have been equally good on the road so far (6-2-2), having scored 19 goals against 6 conceded.
