Bolivian side Bolivar will be with their backs against the wall when they will host Delfin on Wednesday, in the final Match-day of the Copa Libertadores. Bolivar are sitting at the bottom of the group, but a win here could even push them at the 2nd spot. Delfin are slightly more comfortable here, but they will try to grab at least a draw point here.
Bolivar (1-2-2) did not make a very bad start in this group stage, as they didn't lose any of their first three matches. They played for 1-1 draws against Delfin (away) and Colo Colo (home), before defeating Atletico Nacional by 0-1 in their 3rd match. However, they lost each of their last two matches against Atletico Nacional (1-4 away) and Colo Colo (0-2 away). They are now sitting at the bottom of Group B with 5 points, two behind Delfin and Colo Colo. Anything other than a win here would leave them eliminated.
Delfin (2-2-1) also had a rough start in this stage, as after that 1-1 draw in the premiere against Bolivar they went on to lose by a harsh 0-4 on the road against Atletico Nacional. They pulled a really nice away win against Colo Colo by 2-0, only to lose by 2-1 at home in the very next match. In their last match they subdued Atletico Nacional by 0-1 at home. Delfin are now sitting at the 3rd spot of the group with 7 points, just as many as Colo Colo ahead of them, while both teams are two points behind Atletico Nacional, and two ahead of Bolivar. A draw here would ensure they would continue at least in the Copa Sudamericana.
