San Jose finally put an end to their horrible streak when they defeated Minnesota United over the weekend, but they failed to keep a clean sheet once again. They will now return home for their next match, where they will play host to DC United on Saturday. DC United have had a brutal schedule so far, and they are getting ready for one more away match.

San Jose (2-5-2) are coming off a great performance on the road, where they recorded their second win of the season against Minnesota United. Minnesota equalized San Jose’s early goal at the 26th minute, but the Quakes scored two more goals in the second half to eventually win by 3-1. However, they failed to keep a clean sheet once again. Despite the win, San Jose are sitting at the 10th spot of the Western Conference with 8 points, just as many as Colorado and Seattle below them. DC United (1-5-2) will surely be frustrated about the outcome of their away match against Real Salt Lake. For the 2nd consecutive match they scored the first goal but ended up losing by the same 2-3 final score. They have had a really bad schedule so far, as six of their eight matches so far have been on the road, where they have grabbed just a single point so far (0-5-1). At least they have scored in five of those six matches. They are the worst team in the MLS with their 5 points so far, sitting dead last at the Eastern Conference.
