Czech Republic at England 3/22/19 - EURO Cup Qualifiers Picks & Predictions

After a really promising run in the 2018 World Cup, England followed up with a really great run in the UEFA Nations League. They will now look to do an equally god job in the 2022 EURO Cup qualifiers and will start with a home match against the Czech Republic. The visitors did a mediocre job in the UEFA Nations League and could not hope for much here.

England did not have an easy job in the UEFA Nations League in a group along with Spain and Croatia. But they did a great job and only lost to Spain in the opening match, but still finished at the top of their group (2-1-1). England are traditionally very good in the EURO Cup qualifiers and have been excellent at home. They have won 14 of their 15 home matches where they were the favorite and have scored in all their matches since a goal-less draw against Montenegro back in 2010. The Czech Republic were up against Ukraine and Slovakia in the UEFA Nations League. They won just two of their matches and finished at the 2nd spot (2-2-0), scoring four goals and conceding just as many. The Czech Republic have been quite competitive in their away matches in recent years, winning half of their ten since 2015 (5-4-1). There haven’t been many goals in their matches lately, with four of their last six featuring Under 1.5 Goals.
