Crystal Palace hosts Southampton on Saturday in the Opening match of the 2020-21 English Premier League campaign at Selhurst Park. The big news for the capital club was the signing of attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze who played at QPR. However, the Eagles are more known for their terrific back line and will use that suffocating defense on Saturday against Southampton.

In the 2019-20 EPL campaign, Danny Ings was the leading scorer for Southampton with 22 goals and Nathan Redmond was the assists leader with four.

Over that span of five fixtures, Southampton scored just three goals and its back line and goaltender allowed 10. Southampton has been held scoreless in three of its last five matches.
