They did win their home match against Cardiff earlier in the week but they will have to deal with a ton of injuries again. West Ham will now play host to Crystal Palace on Saturday, who are coming off a really bad loss on the road.

West Ham (5-7-3) were lucky in the first half of their home match against Cardiff, as they saw their opponents miss on a penalty kick that would have given them the lead. However, luck balanced itself out, as key forward Arnautovic had to be subbed off in the very next minute due to an injury. Even so, West Ham scored three goals at the start of the second half and went on to win by 1-3. They have been in great form lately, losing just one of their last five (3-1-1). The Hammers are now sitting at the 13th spot of the Premier League with 18 points, just five points behind Everton and the 6th spot. The Hammers have not been very strong at home so far (3-4-1), where they have won just two of their last five in all competitions (2-3-0). Crystal Palace (3-9-3) met yet another loss on the road against Brighton, but what a frustrating loss it was. Their opponents took an early lead in that match but were left with 10 men in the first half. Crystal Palace failed to capitalize, as Brighton were already leading by 0-3 at the end of the half. Palace did score a late goal but it changed nothing. They have been really bad in the past couple of months, winning just once in the process (1-7-2). They are now sitting at the 15th spot of the league table with 12 points, just three points ahead of the relegation zone. Crystal Palace have not been any good on the road (2-5-1), losing five of their last six in all competitions. They have scored just three goals in that span and have conceded 11 in the process.
