Manchester United met a really bad loss in the Manchester Derby right before the break and saw their winning streak come to an end. They will now return home for their first match after the break, where they will host Crystal Palace on Saturday. Crystal Palace were in terrible shape before the break and will also have numerous injury concerns heading into this match.

Manchester United (6-4-2) were hosted by Manchester City in their last match before the break and met a pretty tough loss. They were not very good in the first half of the match, as their opponents were already leading by two at the start of the second. United did score once but conceded once again to eventually lose by 1-3. They have severe defensive issues as they have conceded goals in nine of their last ten. Manchester United are now 8th in the league table with 20 points, just as many as Bournemouth and Watford. They have been great at home (3-1-1), but have a loss and a draw in the Champions League and another draw in the Carabao Cup, Crystal Palace (2-8-2) have been plagued by injuries this season, but even so, they managed to remain competitive in their loss against Tottenham. But they eventually bowed down to their opponents superiority to lose by a slim 1-0 at home. Crystal Palace have now lost six of their last seven, also failing to keep a single clean sheet in that span. They are now 16th in the Premier League with 8 points, just as many as Southampton and Cardiff below them. Crystal Palace were excellent on the road at the start of the season, winning four of their first five matches in all competitions. But they were bad lately, having lost each of their last five and scored just twice.
