It is now time for the World Cup Final on Sunday, where France and Croatia will be locking horns. France did a pretty solid job against Belgium in the semi-final, as they didn't allow them to play their game. Croatia suffered somewhat of a scare against England but also managed to go through.

France were really good in the first half of the semi-final against Belgium, especially on the defensive end. They did create a dozen scoring chances but had trouble in finding the target. Belgium were locked outside the French area and just couldn't get in. France eventually scored the winning goal at the start of the second half, when Umtiti hit a nice header from a corner kick. France easily held on to the result, as they cut all passing lanes and also did a lot of time-wasting. Croatia were left hanging early in the match against England, as they saw their opponents take an early lead. Trippier scored a really nice direct free kick, but Croatia did not let that affect them. They grew stronger and stronger as the match was played, and eventually managed to pull even at the 68th minute with Perisic. They destroyed England in the second half, as they didn't allow them to take a single shot on target. The match went to extra time, where Croatia were dominant and eventually scored the winning goal atthe 109th minute with Mandzukic.
