Orlando City are on track for another playoff run and they have been really hard to beat lately. They will now remain at home for their third consecutive home match, where they will play host to Columbus on Saturday. Columbus might be coming off a win over Cincinnati but they have been really bad for quite a while now.
Orlando City (9-4-8) are coming into this match after a goal-less draw at home against Inter Miami. It was a very frustrating match, as Orlando had a missed penalty kick and a disallowed goal in the first half. Even so, they are now unbeaten in their last six matches (2-0-4) but keeping just 2 clean sheets in the process. Orlando are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Eastern Conference with 35 points, scoring 30 and conceding 24 goals in the process. They have been really good at home so far in the season (6-1-4), scoring 18 and conceding just 7 goals.
Columbus (7-9-6) scored two late goals in their home match against Cincinnati in order to overturn the result in their favor and won by 3-2. However, that was their first win after a 6-match losing streak. Columbus have been struggling to get points lately and are now sitting at the 8th spot of the Eastern Conference with 27 points, 3 points behind the playoff spots, scoring 25 and conceding 29 goals in the process. Columbus have not been any good on the road so far (2-6-3), scoring just 6 goals and conceding 13 in the process.
