Columbus Crew at Orlando City 7/13/19 - MLS Picks & Predictions

Orlando City did a great job in the US Open Cup and have been in somewhat solid shape lately. They will now return to MLS duties on Saturday when they will host the struggling Columbus Crew. Columbus simply cannot steer the ship lately and are still looking to come out of the swamp.

Orlando City (6-9-4) are coming off a penalty shootout in the quarter-finals of the US Open Cup where they eliminated NYCFC. They have now lost just once in their last four matches in all competitions and have been great over the past month or so. Orlando are now 9th in the East with 22 points, one behind the playoffs. They have not had much luck at home so far (3-5-1). Columbus Crew (5-13-2) took the lead in their home match against Seattle but ended up losing by 2-1 due to a late goal. They have been awful over the past three months with just two wins and 13 losses in that span. They have also lost five in a row and failed to score in three of those. They are sitting at the penultimate spot of the East with 17 points and the worst offense with 17 goals. Their away record has been equally bad with seven losses and just one win (1-7-0).
