New England (5-3-2) stunned Toronto FC when they hosted them over the weekend, as they scored two early goals by the 7th minute and extended their lead to three goals at the start of the second half. They did concede two goals by the 89th minute but managed to hold on to their lead to eventually win by 2-3. However, that was just their second win in their last five (2-2-1), as they are now sitting at the 6th spot with 17 points. They have been really strong at home so far (4-1-1), where they have only failed to score in the loss against FC Dallas. Columbus Crew (6-3-3) had a pretty easy job when they hosted Chicago, as they dropped three goals while conceding none in that nice win. Columbus have had a really favorable schedule in their last five (3-0-2), as they played four of those at home. They will now try to keep their undefeated streak intact, but they have not been very good on the road (1-2-2), having not won in their last four there. However, Columbus are still sitting at the 2nd spot of the Eastern Conference with 21 points, four behind Atlanta United.
