They will now remain at home for their next assignment, where they will play host to Columbus on Saturday. Columbus are coming off a couple of really nice home wins and will now look to make it three in a row.

They have been in bad shape lately, winning just one of their last seven matches (1-5-1). Moreover, they failed to score in four of those matches. Chicago are now stuck at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with 8 points, scoring 9 and conceding 16 goals so far. They haven’t been very good at home either (2-3-0), scoring 6 and conceding 7 goals so far.

Columbus Crew (7-1-2) are coming into this match after a dominant performance at home against Cincinnati, where they scored three second-half goals to eventually win by 0-3. They have now won two in a row with clean sheets, and are undefeated in their last three (2-0-1). Columbus are having a tremendous season so far, sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference with 23 points. They have scored 16 goals so far and have conceded just two in the process. However, they have not been as strong on the road (2-1-2), scoring six and conceding two goals.
