Real Salt Lake have been really struggling to get results over the past month, and are coming off another loss. They now have a great chance to return to winning ways, as they will play host to Colorado on Saturday. The Rapids might be coming off a draw, but they are having one of the worst seasons in their history.

Real Salt Lake (9-9-2) probably deserved something more from their trip to Minnesota on Saturday. But after a goal-less first half, they conceded three consecutive goals and only managed to score twice in that 2-3 loss. Real Salt Lake have not been in very good form lately, winning two of their last seven (2-4-1). They are still sitting at the 5th spot of the Western Conference with 29 points, one behind Portland. Moreover, Real Salt Lake have been dominant at home (8-1-1) having only failed to score once. Colorado (4-11-4) are coming off a somewhat boring draw at home against the Houston Dynamo. Both teams tried to create scoring chances in that match, but neither was able to score. Colorado have been in awful form all season, and have won just two of their last 15 matches. They are currently sitting at the penultimate spot of the Western Conference with 16 points, just four ahead of San Jose. They have been quite bad on the road so far in the season (1-6-1), having scored just four away goals.
