The LA Galaxy failed to return to winning ways in their last match and eventually met their third loss in a row. They will now look to make amends when they will remain at home, playing host to Colorado on Sunday. Colorado have been the weakest team in the MLS so far and this already looks like another lost season.

The LA Galaxy (7-4-1) were really bad in the first half of their home match against NYCFC where they conceded two goals in the final minutes to eventually lose by 2-0. That was their third consecutive loss for the Galaxy who were quite strong prior to that. They are now sitting at the 3rd spot of the Western Conference with 22 points, three behind Seattle. The Galaxy have also been really strong at home so far (6-1-0). Colorado (0-9-2) are having a season to forget (again) and are coming off yet another loss - their ninth in 11 matches. They fell by 3-2 at home against Real Salt Lake and had also lost by the same score against Vancouver in their previous match. Colorado have now lost eight in a row but have only failed to score once in that span. They are stuck at the bottom of the Conference with just two points and already 30 conceded goals.
