Orlando City have now lost two in a row after falling in Toronto. They will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday, when they will play host to Chicago Fire. Chicago have been a bad mess so far in the season and are coming off back-to-back losses.
Orlando City (6-4-1) fought really hard against Toronto FC in Canada, but eventually fell by 1-2 due to a late goal at the 87th minute. That was their second consecutive loss by the same score, as prior to that they were defeated at home against Atlanta United. Orlando City are now sitting at the 5th spot of the Eastern Conference with 19 points, two points behind the Red Bulls and two points ahead of New England. They have been quite decent at home (4-2-1), but have conceded multiple goals on five of those seven matches.
Chicago Fire (3-6-2) are coming into this match after a somewhat frustrating 3-2 loss at home against Houston. Their opponents took an early lead at the 4th minute, but Chicago had overturned the lead in their favor before the first half was over. However, they were not good in the second half, where they conceded two more goals and fell by 3-2. They have been in bad form lately, as they have won just one of their last five (1-3-1). They are now sitting at the 8th spot of the Eastern Conference with 11 points, already six points behind the playoff spots.
