Manchester City did a great job against Everton mid-week and are slowly building a new winning streak. They will now have a tough time on Sunday, when they will play host to Chelsea for the 26th round of the Premier League. Chelsea recorded a pretty easy win over Huddersfield in their last match but have not been very stable lately.

Manchester City (20-4-2) scored a goal at the end of each half of their away match against Everton mid-week. That was their second consecutive win after that tough loss against Newcastle, and tenth in their last eleven matches in all competitions. Manchester City are back to the 2nd spot with 62 points, three behind Liverpool and five ahead of Chelsea. City have been the best team at home so far in the league (12-1-0), scoring 43 goals and conceding just 11 in the process. Chelsea (15-5-5) destroyed Huddersfield by a massive 0-5 at home last week, in a match where newly-signed Gonzalo Higuain scored twice, just as Eden Hazard. The Blues did great to bounce back after a really bad loss on the road against Bournemouth by 0-4 on the road, but they have won just two of their last five (2-2-1). Chelsea are now sitting at the 5th spot of the league table with 50 points, just as many as Arsenal below them. They have been quite competitive on the road (7-4-1) but have lost each of their last three away matches without even scoring.
