On Thursday night, Borussia Dortmund will play second game against Norwegian team Odd in the Europa League play-off.
It is truth to say that Dortmund did not start well the first game and after 22 minutes was losing 3-0. Samuelson from Odd opened the scoring in the first minute of the game before Nordkvelle extended the lead to 2-0 in the 20th minute. Not a long time after Ruud made it 3-0 and Borussia seemed speechless and shocked.
Fortunately for Dortmund Aubameyang cut the lead to two goals just before the half time and the team also had a strong start in the second half when Kagawa scored second goal. Later in 68th minute Aubameyang levelled and Mkhitaryan scored the winning goal five minutes to the end. It was unbelievable come back from Dortmund’s players who showed good determination and great effort.
Dortmund’s coach Tuchel was happy with the result and performance of his players who never gave up and fought back.
Moreover, Tuchel will have back his centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who returned after ankle injury and also Kevin Grosskreutz will be available after he played full game for a reserve team last Saturday.
Further, Dortmund’s offense has been excellent scoring 22 goals in last seven games. The team also scored four goal in the last three games.
To conclude, Dortmund will have to take its opponent seriously and can’t underestimate the quality of the Norwegian team. They showed they can score goals and can punish sloppy plays and easy mistakes. Final game prediction, Dortmund will win 2-0 against Odd.
