By far the most interesting match of the weekend is the one between Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. The two teams are fighting for different things here, with Bayern Munich looking to seal the title, while Leverkusen are eager to climb inside the top-four spots.

Bayer Leverkusen (17-7-5) are coming off a really mediocre performance on the road against Freiburg, where they only had a single shot on target and scored the only goal of the match to escape with a 1-0 win. They really needed to bounce back after a tough 4-1 home loss to Wolfsburg last week, but have now won three of the four matches after the break. Leverkusen are now sitting at the 5th spot of the league table with 56 points, just as many as Gladbach above them, while both teams are two points behind RB Leipzig. They have a 7-3-4 record at home, winning seven of their last eight in all competitions there.

Bayern Munich (21-4-4) were tremendous in their home match against Dusseldorf last week, where they quickly took the lead and eventually blasted their opponents by an easy 0-5. They have now won each of their four matches after the break, keeping three clean sheets in the process. Bayern Munich are leading the Bundesliga with 67 points, seven ahead of Dortmund. They have the best away record in the league (10-2-2), winning each of their last nine away matches in all competitions.
