Juventus were doing a great job against Atletico Madrid in the premiere but eventually got just one point from their trip. They will now look for all three points when they will host German side Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday. Bayer Leverkusen started off with a loss in their easiest match and things look bad right now.
Bayer Leverkusen were not very good in the opener against Lokomotiv Moscow, as they fell by 2-1 at home in what was theoretically their easiest match in this group. The Germans have not fared well in the competition lately, winning just two of their last matches (2-4-8). But they have done a great job in their away matches recently, going undefeated in their last five (1-0-4). They have never won in their last five trips to Italy though (0-4-1).
Juventus were on track to record an away win against Atletico Madrid in the premiere. They took a two-goal lead in that match but conceded twice in the last 20 minutes to eventually split the points in a 2-2 draw. Juventus have been great at home in this competition, losing just four of their last 38 such matches (22-4-12). EVen so, they are without a win in their last four matches against German sides (0-1-3) and won just one of their last five as hosts (1-2-2).
