Liverpool have a HUGE task ahead of them in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals, as they will now host Barcelona on Tuesday. Barcelona did great to win by 0-3 in the first leg in Spain and will now try to defend their advantage.

Liverpool were not very bad in the first leg in Spain but were surely very unlucky. They had to make a couple of subs early in the match and Barcelona were really effective overall. The final 0-3 loss leaves little room for surprise here, especially since Liverpool will be missing both Mo Salah and Firmino in this match. For what it’s worth, Liverpool have not lost at home in a European Cup semi-final (8-0-2). Barcelona have been in terrific shape this season and they proved that once again when they blasted Liverpool in the first leg. Messi is in tremendous form at this point in the season, scoring twice in that match. Barcelona rested all their players in the weekend match so everyone is coming here focused like a laser. Barcelona have not lost on the road in the Champions League this season either (3-0-2).
