Two teams that will be looking to bounce back to winning ways will lock horns on Sunday, when Schalke will play host to Augsburg. Schalke were really bad in the big derby against Dortmund last week and will be looking to bounce back. Augsburg fought hard against Wolfsburg but failed to take anything from that match.

Schalke (9-7-10) are coming off a really bad loss in the Ruhr Derby against Dortmund last week, where they conceded two goals in each half to eventually meet a really bad 0-4 loss on the road. They have been terrible in 2020, with their last win dating back to January 17th, their first match after the winter break. Schalke are sitting at the 8th spot of the league table with 37 points, two behind the top-six. They have been really hard to beat at home (5-2-6), losing only to RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.

Augsburg (7-13-6) are also coming off a mediocre performance at home, where they lost by 2-1 against Wolfsburg last week. They did have a chance to go in front but their goal was disallowed, while they conceded the losing goal at the stoppage time. That means that they have now lost four in a row and have won just once in their last ten matches (1-8-1). As a result, Augsburg are now sitting at the 14th spot of the league table with 27 points, just four points above the red line. They have not been very good on the road (2-8-3), losing each of their last five, scoring just one goal in the process.
