On Sunday, Arsenal hosts Watford in the final fixture of the season for both clubs in the English Premier League. Arsenal is 10th in the EPL table at 13-14-10 on 53 points following its disappointing 1-0 loss to Aston Villa last time out. Arsenal looked as if they had a big letdown after defeating Manchester City in the semi-final of the FA Cup on Saturday.  Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stated that this week has been very demanding both physically and emotionally.

It appears as though the only way for Arsenal to qualify for the Europa League is to defeat Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup on August 1. Arsenal has two wins, one draw and two losses in his last five matches played across all competitions. The leading goal scorer for Arsenal is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with 20, while Nicolas Pepe is the leader in assists with six.

Watford fell to 18th in the top-flight English league following a 4-0 loss to Manchester City coupled with Aston Villa’s 1-0 victory over  Arsenal. Watford is 8-10-19 on 34 points and tied on points with 17th place Aston Villa but one goal behind in goal difference. Watford can escape the drop zone with a victory or draw coupled by a loss by Aston Villa. In addition, Watford could remain in the EPL with a victory and a victory by Aston Villa if Watford can make up its one goal differential.

Watford has two wins and three losses in its last five matches played in the English Premier League. Over those five fixtures, Watford has scored five goals, while its back line and goalkeeper have allowed 12. Watford's offense has been held scoreless in two of its last five fixtures. Troy Deeney is the leading goal scorer for Watford with nine, while Gerard Deulofeu is the leader in assists with five.

The reverse match between the two English Premier League rivals resulted in a 2-2 draw. Over the past five fixtures head-to-head between the two, Arsenal has three victories, Watford has one victory and one match has ended in a draw. Arsenal will be focused on the FA Cup final played four days following this match and could overlook Watford who is battling for its EPL life. Take Watford in the upset. Final Score Prediction, Watford wins 2-1
