The Winnipeg Jets look to even their best of five series with the Calgary Flames when the two play Game 2 on Monday. Winnipeg lost to Calgary in the opening game of the series 4-1 on Saturday. Not only did the Jets lose the game, but they also lost Mark Scheifele who injured his leg. In addition, Patrick Laine collided with a Calgary player and left in the third and did not return. Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves in the loss for the Jets.

Andrew Copp has the only goal of the postseason thus far for the Jets while Adam Lowry and Dmitry Kulikov each have one assist for Winnipeg. In net, Conner Hellebuyck is 0-1-0 with a goals against of 3.34 and save percentage of .906.

Calgary trailed 1-0 after the first period, but scored three unanswered goals in the second period and one in the third. Mikael Backlund and Johnny Gaudreau each scored on the power play for Calgary, while Tobias Rieder scored while the Flames were short-handed and Andrew Mangiapane added a goal into the empty net. Cam Talbot made 17 saves in net.

Andrew Mangaipane has one goal and one assist to lead Calgary with two points. Johnny Gaudreau, Mikael Backlund, and Tobias Rieder each have one goal, while three other players have one assist apiece. Cam Talbot is 1-0-0 with a goals against of 1.00 and save percentage of .944.

Winnipeg will look to bounce back with a victory on Monday against the Calgary Flames and could also look to even the score after a couple of questionable hits by the Flames on Jets’ players. However, the play here is the UNDER. The UNDER has cashed in four of the Jets last five and in five of the Flames last six. Game 1 finished UNDER and Game 2 will as well. Final Score Prediction, Winnipeg Jets win but our best play is UNDER 3-2.
