Wild at Stars 4/6/19 - NHL Picks & Predictions

The fans in Minnesota have to be asking what could have been if the offense had actually shown up this season. The defense of the Minnesota Wild was actually amazing on the year in most of the games they played, the problem is the offense was just horrible they never could score the goals and they had a lot of trouble finding the back of the net.

This season the Minnesota Wild were actually led offensively by Zach Parise who only ended up getting a total of 61 points of the team and goal scoring with 28 goals on the year. Ryan Suter ended up being the assist leader and he only managed to get 40 assist on a year to show just how horrible the Minnesota Wild offense was on the season. The Dallas Stars actually had to battle back to make the playoffs. They were one of those teams that look like they're going to be in it for a long time and then come along January-February they really started to struggle. Now, the Stars are actually going to make the playoffs but no in the guaranteed third spot that they were hoping for as a division leader but instead they are going to be in as a wild-card berth.

This season the offense of the Dallas Stars has been run by Tyler Seguin. Seguin actually leads the Dallas Stars in all the major offensive categories with a total of 77 points of which he has 31 goals and 46 assist.

In this game look for the Dallas Stars to rest some of their star players and potentially even start the backup goalie has there already in the playoffs and their playoff seeding is not going to change if they win this game. the Minnesota Wild though they're going to be looking towards next season and try to push the offense to see how they can change to allow for a better scoring chances next season. Final Score Prediction, Minnesota Wild win 2-1.
