The Wild finally managed to get a win against a good team. What helped the Blues out in the game against the Oilers was the fact the defense finally decided to show up at the same time as the offense. The Wild ended up putting in 3 goals in the game against the Oilers and actually really played strong defense as the Minnesota squad shut down the Oilers offense.

This year the Wild offense has been led by Brad Hunt who has managed to get 3 goals and 2 assist to lead the Wild in goals and points. Ryan Suter leads the Wild in the assist department with 4. Devan Dubnyk is the goalie the Wild have started in the past and he has allowed only 4.18 goals a game and saved 87.4% of the shots faced.

Nashville was able to crush the Anaheim Ducks in the last game. That allowed the Predators to a 6-3-1 record on the season. What was really impressive for the Predators is how well the offense was able to show up against the Ducks defense that had been very hard to beat. The Predators in the win ended up putting in 6 goals and only allowed a single goal, which the number of goals the Ducks scored was kind of expected.

Filip Fosberg has managed to lead the Predators in the goal scoring with 5 goals. Ryan Ellis has done really well for the Predators in getting the puck around with 10 assist and leads the Predators overall with 11 points. Pekka Rinne is the goalie the Predators have come to rely on most of the season. Rinne has saved 91.3% of the shots sent towards him on the year and allowed only 2.56 goals a game.

Defensively the Predators are a lot better than the Wild. However, the Predator are also quite a bit better on the offensive side of the puck. That allows the Predators to have a great game as the Wild cannot put together a second straight game of a good offense and defensive combination. Final Score Predication, Nashville Predators win 4-2.
