The Washington Capitals will end at three game homestand Wednesday night with the game in Edmonton, AB against the Edmonton Oilers. Washington comes into Wednesday 30-18-9 on the year riding a two game win streak after a 5-2 win over Seattle on Saturday. Conor Sheary was the spark within the Washington offense scoring two goals on three shots in just under 13.5 minutes on the ice. Offensively this season Edmonton has been a strong team averaging 3.19 goals per game but has allowed 3.21 goals from their opponents. Leon Draisaitl is the leader of the Edmonton offense leading the team with 79 points this season to go along with a team high 38 goals on 187 shots.

Washington comes into this game playing the better hockey as of late and will ride that momentum Wednesday night.
