The Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars are set to meet in game 4 of the Western Conference finals as they will face off at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada. The Vegas Golden Knights were unable to take a series lead after dropping game 3 to the Stars, 3-2 in OT. The Golden Knights were able to receive scoring from their usual sources as Alex Tuch and Shea Theodore recorded the goals while William Karlsson and Mark Stone went onto the stat sheet with assist. The Vegas Golden Knights dominated the Dallas Stars in the shot department (40-23), but they were dead even with the Stars in the faceoff circle (28-28).

The Vegas Golden Knights struggled at keeping the Dallas Stars off the scoreboard as they allowed them to score 3 goals on 23 shots. The Golden Knights starting goaltender Robin Lehner struggled in the crease as he recorded 20 saves which pushed his postseason save percentage to .921 and GAA to 1.92. The Golden Knights were solid on the penalty kill as they went a perfect 1 for 1.

The Dallas Stars were able to once again take a series lead after winning game 3 against Vegas, and they did it with solid play on both sides of the ice as they put 3 goals on the board while playing good defense. The Stars were able to receive a big game from Jamie Benn as he recorded 1 goal and 1 assist, but perhaps the most important point of the game came off the stick of Alexander Radulov as he scored the overtime goal. The Dallas Stars were able to capitalize on the few opportunities they got as they only had 23 shots, but the Stars will need to continue putting pressure on Vegas with more shots throughout the game.

The Dallas Stars were solid at keeping the high-scoring Vegas Golden Knights off the scoreboard as they held them to 2 goals on 40 shots. The Stars starting goaltender Anton Khudobin had a good game in the crease as he recorded 38 saves which pushed his postseason save percentage to .915 and GAA to 2.77. The Stars will need to be much more discipline against the Golden Knights as they gave them 4 powerplay opportunities.

I have been on the Vegas Golden Knights for most of the playoffs and this game is arguably the most important in the series, but I think they will be in a desperate situation where they play out of their comfort zone. The Dallas Stars have had their problems in the net with Khudobin as he is allowing close to 3 goals per game, but they have supplemented him nicely as Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, and Alexander Radulov can score with the best of them. The Vegas Golden Knights have a very good scoring attack, but their main problem has been consistency which leads me to guessing which team will show up each and every day. The Dallas Stars have matched the physicality level of the Golden Knights in this series, and I think they will play loose knowing they are up in the series. Final Score Prediction, Dallas Stars win 4-2.
